The Camargue

The Camargue is an exceptional nature site with an amazing variety of fauna. This wetland of 100.000 ha formed by the Rhône river delta, is the second delta of the Mediterranean Sea area, after the Nile delta. In this unspoiled setting, man coexists with nature, horses, bulls and birds.  Bird lovers will definitely appreciate the rare flora and fauna that can be found in the Camargue, with 400 bird species, one of which is the pink flamingo, the image of the region. You can also admire herds of horses and wild bulls.
